Speeding "not a problem"
15th August 2005
Letter from Leicestershire Constabulary Road Safety Unit with regards to traffic speed on Thistleton Road and Teigh Road:
Speeding Complaint: Teigh Rd.
I thank you for your speed complaint, which has been passed to me to respond.
The covert speed detection device was recently been deployed along Thistleton Road, where there was found not to be a speeding problem. However, I shall deploy the covert speed detection device at Teigh Road. The device will count the number of vehicles travelling past it, as well as the speed and direction of travel, and will hopefully give a truer picture of the speeds travelled.
Once the results of the device are collected and analysed, I will contact you again.
Yours sincerely
Miss Debbie Collier
