PC Adie Cox informed the meeting that the Neighbourhood Policing was again proving to be a success as crime in the village was down - i.e. 13 crimes to 31 March 2008 compared with 17 crimes in the previous year. 2008/055 Village Spring Clean

Cllr. Carlisle had responded to public demand for the 'Village' to undertake a village spring clean on Saturday 12th April 2008. A form had been circulated throughout the village, and volunteers were asked to spend one or two hours clearing away litter in the vicinity of their property. It was noted that the residents at The Lodge had volunteered to clear away litter and debris on the boundaries of their property on Main Street, Old Stamford Road and Pinfold Lane.

2008/056 Any Other Business

Marie Shephard enquired whether anything could be done about the appearance of 55 Thistleton Road, as the property was now empty and the garden was grossly overgrown - Cllr. Rodger confirmed that she would look into the matter.
