2005/38 Apologies
Cllr. Hudson and apologies for lateness were received from Cllrs. Rodger, Ryder and County Councillor Rob Toy.
2005/39 To Approve Minutes of 2005-03-23
The Clerk having circulated the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting, held on Wednesday 23 March 2005, Cllr. Stewart proposed and Cllr. O'Neill seconded that they be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.
2005/40 To deal with matters, if any -
- 2005/31 - Clock repairs - A quotation had been received from N.J. Meadwell to repair the clock for £ 311.36 plus V.A.T.
- 2005/17 - Revd. Angell had written a letter to inform the Parish Council that the Parochial Church Council was unanimous in their decision to close the Church yard when it was full and they considered that nothing had changed that required them to reconsider the matter.
- 2005/19 - FUL/2005/0098/9/MT - Members supported the revised details for bedroom 3 windows.
2005/41 To adopt and approve a/cs for the year ending 31-3-2005 and complete Annual Return.
The Clerk circulated the Receipts and Payments Summary of Accounts for the year ending 31 March 2005 and this was agreed on the proposition of Cllr. O' Neill and seconded by Cllr. Dean. The Chairman then signed Section 1 - The Statement of Accounts, answered questions in Section 2 - Statement of Assurance and with the agreement of members present signed on behalf of the Parish Council.
2005/42 To authorise payments of accounts/S137 and note balances.
Cllr. O'Neill proposed and Cllr. Dean seconded that the following, amounting to £853.87 be authorised for payment-
- Market Overton Parish Plan Group* - £150.00 - S137 grant
- Market Overton Youth Club - £100.00 - S137 grant
- M.O.P.A.A. - £300.00 - S137 grant
- ABB Ltd - Street light maintenance - £133.87 including VAT
- LRAPLC - Annual subscription - £150.00
- Rural Community Council - £10.00 donation
- Leics. & Rutland Playing Fields Association £10.00 subscription
The Clerk circulated the Monthly Statement of Accounts and the Quarterly Statement of Accounts and members noted the balance.
