2006/014 Declarations of interest

2006/015 To approve minutes of 2006-01-04
Cllr. Ryder proposed and Cllr. Hudson seconded that the Minutes of 4th January 2006 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.
2006/016 To deal with matters, if any, remaining from previous meetings
- 2005/105 - Street Lights - Members had met earlier that evening (with the exception of Cllr. Dean and Ryder) with the owner of 38 Main Street to discuss the location of the proposed new street light in Main Street. Queries were raised whether it was the right location or not; members' requested more information, i.e. plans showing the line of the power supply, the ownership/responsibility of pole 20. (Cllr. Dean and Ryder declared an interest).
- 2005/130 - The Chairman congratulated Cllr. Ryder on winning the best decorated tree in the Christmas Tree Festival held recently in the church.
- 2006/006 - Cllr. Ryder confirmed that the Affordable Homes survey had been distributed with the Outreach magazine to all households in the parish.
2006/017 To receive working group reports.
Cllr. Hudson reported that the working group to discuss burial facilities, had not met as one member of the group was still away on holiday.
2006/018 Village Meeting Agenda
It was agreed to defer this item to the next meeting.
2006/019 Village Correspondent
Members agreed that a volunteer should be sought by advertising it through Outreach magazine or finding a volunteer at the Annual Village Meeting.
2006/020 To receive Correspondence
- RCC - Asking for a nomination to the Standards Board.
- RCC Countryside Access & Public Right of Way questionnaire.
2006/021 To authorise payments of accounts/S137 and note balances.
Cllr. Rodger proposed and Cllr. Hudson seconded that the following invoices be authorised for payment and this was agreed -
- Shaw & Sons - Receipts & Payments Book - £57.46 (inc. VAT)
- ABB Ltd - 4 Replacement Street Lights - £2662.55 (inc. VAT)
- Parish Clerk's Discretionary Fund - £125.00
- Powergen - Street Lighting - £98.08 (inc. VAT)
and approved transferring £1991.17 from Alliance & Leicester to HSBC current account.
The Clerk circulated the Monthly Statement of Accounts- members noted balance.
2006/022 Planning Applications
Members agreed to support the following application-
- LBA/2005/1111/MS & FUL/2005/1110/MS - Conversion of annex - The Old Manor House, Teigh Road.
- FUL/2006/0038/MT - Construction of conservatory and re-siting of conservatory at 5 Cordle Way. (Cllr. Crowther declared an interest).
Members noted that the following application had been approved-
- PTA/2005/1122MT - Reduce branches to No.2 Ash - 9 Cordle Way

The date of the next meeting was arranged for Wednesday 8 March 2006 at 7-30 p.m. in the Church Meeting Room. (Meeting closed at 8-39 p.m.)
