2006/057 Present
The Parish Clerk opened the Meeting at 7-30 p.m. Cllr's. Crowther, Dean, Hudson, Rodger, Ryder, Stewart and Warwick.
2006/058 Apologies

2006/059 Declarations
Cllr. Crowther - Market Overton Parochial Church Council.
2006/060 - To Elect Officers' for the ensuing year
Nominations for the following positions' were received-
- Chairman - Cllr. Crowther - Cllr. Ryder proposed, Cllr. Hudson seconded - Agreed. (Cllr. Crowther signed the Declaration of Acceptance of Office)
- Vice Chairman- Cllr. Dean - Cllr. Rodger proposed, Cllr. Stewart seconded - Agreed.
- Village Hall Representative - Cllr. Hudson - Cllr. Crowther proposed, Cllr. Rodger seconded - Agreed.
2006/61 To approve Minutes of 2006-04-12
Cllr. Stewart proposed and Cllr. Rodger seconded that the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting and the accuracy of Minutes of the Annual Village Meeting both held on 12th April 2006 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.
2006/062 To deal with matters, if any remaining from previous meetings
- 2006/030 - Affordable Homes - the results of the consultation meeting held recently, implies that there is overall support for the development. Members' reiterated that this development was for local people with family or work connections with the village and this should be reinforced in the E106 agreement.
2006/063 To receive Correspondence
- RCC - Notice of closure of through traffic, from Bowling Green Lane to Thistleton, to enable essential carriageway works to be undertaken from 1st June 2006 for 18 months! (Work possibly will commence late July/early August for about 2 weeks).
2006/064 To authorise payments of accounts/S137 and note balances
Cllr. Rodger proposed and Cllr. Hudson seconded that the following invoices be authorised for payment and this was agreed -
- Allianz Cornhill Insurance - £567.17
- RCC - Road Markings - £264.42
- MOPCC - S137 Grant - £350.00
- P.C.D.F. - £150.00
- Rutland Garden Centre - Plants & replacement tree - £71.21
The Clerk circulated the Monthly Statement of Accounts- members noted balance.
2006/065 To receive Planning Applications
Members agreed to support the following application-
- LBA/2006/0335/CP - 16 Main Street - (Retrospective) replacement window.
- FUL/2006/0349/MT - 40 Main Street - 2 storey house at rear.
- FUL/2006/0312/MT - 7 Cordle Way - Conservatory to rear.
Members did not support the following application-
- FUL/2006/0202/MS - The Lodge, Main Street - Erection of storage building shop/cafe. Erection of 2 log cabins and 5 caravan hard standings.
Members noted the approval permission of the following-
- FUL/2005/1110/MS & LBA/2005/1111/MS - The Old Manor House, Teigh Road - conversion of annex to form dwelling.
- CAT/2006/0246/MT - The Old Manor House, Teigh Road - Fell Pear tree.
2006/066 Cottesmore Xmas Party
The Chairman agreed to liaise with C/Cllr. Rob Toy, about the arrangements for the RAF Cottesmore Christmas Party and it was agreed that Cllr. Stewart would accompany the party from the village.
