Members' agreed that the following invoices be authorised for payment -

2006/090 To Review Parish Plan

Members' reviewed 'Priority B' items on the Parish Plan and noted that most of these were the responsibility of the local authority. Angela Essom the new Community Consultation Officer for Rutland had offered her help and would attend the next meeting to discuss these matters, amongst others. Members' agreed to purchase wild flowers to be planted on the grass verge near the copse on Main Street and obtain costs for larger litter bins, to replace bins at the post office and village hall.

2006/091 To Appoint Heritage Warden

Deferred until vacancy advertised in Outreach magazine.

2006/092 Working Group Report

  1. Burial Ground - no meeting had taken place.
  2. Grass Cutting - three councillors had met George Chase from RCC and expressed their dissatisfaction with the standard of grass-cutting in village. It was agreed that Cllr. Dean would obtain quotations for this service, from the private sector.
