2006/123 Declarations

¹Cllr. Stewart - 59 Thistleton Road. ²Cllr. Hudson - MO Youth Cricket Club.

2006/124 To approve Minutes of 2006-09-06

Cllr. Stewart proposed, Cllr. Hudson seconded that the Minutes of 6 September 2006 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.

2006/125 To deal with matters, if any, remaining from previous meetings

2006/092 - Cllr. Stewart complained about the standard of grass cutting in the village.
2006/117 - Barrow Footpath/ Cycleway - RCC will add proposal to list of schemes.
2006/112 - Xmas Party - It was agreed to put up a poster in the Post Office window, for people to put their names down for the RAF Cottesmore party.

2006/126 To receive Correspondence

RCC - Graham Carey - Monitoring Officer had left to take up new post at Coventry City Council.
Baker Wood - explaining the costs for additional work carried out at the copse.

2006/127 To authorise payments of accounts

Members' agreed that the following be authorised for payment -

ABB - £26.26 (inc. VAT) light repair.
P.C.D.F. - £150.00
Baker Wood Tree Services - £975.00

Members' noted balances on the Monthly Statement of Accounts.

The Parish Clerk in exercising his choice suggested that the following charitable donations be made. After due consideration members of the Council agreed.

Market Overton Parochial Church Council - £300.00
Market Overton Village Hall - £250.00
Market Overton Play Area Association - £250.00
Market Overton Youth Cricket Club² - £100.00
Market Overton Youth Club 2 - £100.00
Melton Mowbray Town Estate Appeal - £1,000

2006/128 To receive Planning Applications

Members agreed to support the following application-

FUL/2006/0929/MT - 1 The Finches - construction of conservatory.
FUL/2006/0987/CP - OS Plot 6700 - amended scheme.
FUL/2006/0553/CP (amended plans) - Affordable housing units Main Street.

Members noted the approval of the following-

FUL/2006/0841/MT - ¹59 Thistleton Road - construction of conservatory.
FUL/2006/0202/MS - The Lodge, Main Street - log cabins, shop/cafe, etc.
CAT/2006/0746/MT - Rose Cottage, 4 Teigh Road - fell Ash tree.

2006/129 To note Parish Consultation Summary

The Parish Consultation Evaluation Summary having been circulated was noted.

2006/130 To Receive Reports

Burial Ground - A meeting to took place on Friday 8 September 2006, several issues were raised and more information was required; including a plan of the existing burial plots, to establish the number of spaces available for burial use.

Finalise Christmas Party arrangements.
To set Budget for 2007-2008.

It was agreed to hold the next Parish Council meeting, in the Church Meeting Room on Wednesday 15th November 2006 at 19:30
