2007/012 Present

2007/014 Declarations

2007/015 To approve minutes of 2007-01-03
Cllr Dean proposed, Cllr Hudson seconded that the minutes of 2007-01-03 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.
2007/016 To deal with matters, if any, remaining from previouse meetings
- 2006/114 - Cllr Ryder enquired if a date had been given to move the village signs - the Clerk agreed to check.
2007/017 To receive Correspondence
- Central Networks - emergency pack
- RCC - New code of practice on Litter and Refuse
- Church Mower Service - it was agreed to return to MOPCC an invoice, part-payment cheque and letter, for work that was not authorised by the Parish Council. There was no money left in the budget to give a grant towards this work and ir would create a dangerous precedent to award grants retrospectively. In view on the age of the mower, the Parish Council decided not to maintain it in future as a new contract had been awarded to cut the grass verges.
2007/018 To authorise payments of accounts
Members agreed that the following be authorised for payment -
- Powergen - £98.08 (Including VAT)
- Rutland Garden Centre - £5.90 - 2 packs of violas
- Parish Clerk - £150.00
Members noted balances on the Monthly Statement of Accounts.
2007/019 To receive Planning Applications
Members noted the following approvals -
- FUL/2006/1199/CP - 2 Wharf Cottage, Teigh Road - ground floor extension and erection of single garage
- FUL/2006/0553/CP - NCHA - Erection of 9 Affordable housing units - Main Street
- PTA/2006/1105/MT - Lop 1 Sycamore tree - 1 The Finches
2007/020 Reports

2007/021 Footpaths / Grass Verge
The Clerk informed members that the deep ruts on the grass verge on Main Street and Thistleton Road would be piped and filled in and the surface levelled, ready for the new grass cutting season.
Work on the footpath in Bowling Green Lane had now been delayed until April 2007.
2007/022 Local Elections 2007
The Clerk informed members that the Parish Council Elections would be held on Thursday 3rd May 2007 (7am to 10pm) and that nomination papers would be available in early April.
