2007/111 To approve Minutes
Cllr. Ryder proposed, Cllr. Warwick seconded that the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting of 2007-08-01 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.
2007/112 Matters arising
- 2007/055 - Wheelie bins - Highways was still waiting for a reply from the pub. Cllr. Rodger informed members that 3 wheelie bins would be removed within a month.
- 2007/078 - Horse Chestnut tree - Highways have agreed to remove the dead branch.

- RCC - Details of Youth Opportunity Fund
- Hacker Young - confirming receipt of Annual return
- Leicestershire Constabulary - review of policing in Rutland
- RAF Cottesmore - late night flying from now till Spring 2008

Members supported the following planning applications-

- LBA/2007/0692/NT - 20 Main Street - replacement windows & replace garage door

2007/116 Reports
- Speeding working group - Speed-watch survey has now gone to L.C.C. and the group was now waiting for a response.
2007/117 Parish Plan
Deferred to next meeting.
2007/118 Post Office
Cllr. Rodger informed members that the National Post Office Network was costing on hundered and fifty million pounds per year to administer and as the Post Office was already in the red, it could mean one in three post offices will close. A consultation period will take place in November for six weeks and a decision will be made by the end of January 2008 about the closures.
