2007/138 To approve Minutes
Cllr. Hudson proposed, Cllr. Rodger seconded that the Minutes of 3 October 2007 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.
2007/139 Matters arising
- 2007/055 - Wheelie bins - Highways are in discussions about the two remaining bins.
- 2007/156 - Affordable Houses - NCHA will hold a 'reception' in January. Members' wanted to know how many local people had been allocated houses.
- 2007/126 - Dave Brown - Highways still to quote for hard shoulder.
- 2007/078 - Horse Chestnut branch has now been removed - Vegetation and tree to be removed before Christmas.

2007/143 Reports
- Speeding working group - The Chairman had spoken to Mike Wilson but was still waiting for training dates, possibly in the New Year.
- Parish Council Forum- Cllr. Ryder gave a verbal report on the recent meeting - she hoped to circulate notes that she took and subsequently lost!
2007/144 Budget
To set Budget for 2008-2009. Cllr. Carlise proposed, Cllr. Ryder seconded that the Budget be £11,050.00 to take into account the road safety improvements to Thistleton Road and this was agreed. See table below.

2007/145 Post Office
Cllr. Rodger informed members a decision will be made public 20 November 2007.
2007/146 Pensioners' Christmas Party
No response had been received from letters sent to Cottesmore Parish Council, except from a curt phone call from the Parish Clerk about the 10 placements. The Vice Chairman agreed to liaise with RAF Cottesmore about the party issue.
