2008/016 To approve Minutes
Cllr. Warwick proposed, Cllr. Stewart seconded that the Minutes of 2 January 2008 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.
2008/017 Matters arising
- 2007/146 and 2007/153 - Pensioners Christmas Party - No reply had been received from Cottesmore Parish Council concerning a fairer system of allocations for the Xmas Party.
- 2007/156 - Affordable Housing - it was noted that Walker Close, Market Overton was the fastest development, from initial talks, planning to building/completion in the U.K!
- 2008/010 - Thistleton Road improvements - Cllr. Rodger reported that the Cabinet had system; this will be reviewed by them in April or May.

- MBC - Melton Local Development Framework document.
- Audit Commission - appointment of external auditor.
- South Kesteven D.C. - Housing Land availability assessment.
- Market Overton Bowls Club request.
- Calor - Best Kept Village competition.

Members noted the Monthly Statement of Accounts.
2008/020 Planning Applications
Members commented on the following application-
- FUL/2007/1248/CC - Construction of an improved quarry access at Fosse Lane Members were concerned about traffic generated to and from the proposed quarry access at Fosse Lane and suggested that a designated route to the Al form part of the conditions.
Members noted -
- Confirmation of TPO - Tree at 1 Wharf Cottages, Teigh Road.
2008/021 Reports
- Speedwatch - Members commented on the number of vehicles caught speeding through the village; the four week scheme had a further two and half weeks to run.
- Parish Forum - the main discussion was about Re-cycling.

It was agreed to hold the next Parish Council Meeting on Wednesday 5th March 2008 at 7.00 p.m. in the Church Meeting Room (Meeting closed at 7-48 p.m.)
