2008/085 To approve Minutes
Cllr. Warwick proposed, Cllr. Crowther seconded that the Minutes of 4 June 2008 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.
2008/086 Matters arising
- 2007/130 - Bowling Green Lane - Cllr. Carlisle reported that there had been 2 nasty incidents on this narrow lane and members agreed that Highways should now implement a full safety assessment report to enable improvements be made before there is a fatality.
2008/087 Correspondence
- RCC - Minerals Core Strategy - preferred options report - consultation and comments from 3 July to 14 August invited.
- RCC - Online mapping system.
- RCC - BT removal of phone boxes (Market Overton not included!)
- Dougal Cowper submitted quote to cut Pinfold hedge and was accepted by all.

Members agreed the payments of-

Members noted the Monthly & Quarterly Statement of Accounts.
2008/089 Planning Applications
Members supported the following application-
- FUL/2008/0439/JR - Village Hall1 - single storey flat roof extension at rear.
Members noted the following planning application had been granted-
- FUL/2008/0284/MW - Old School House I Berrybushes - single storey extension.
- LBA/2008/0376/MW - Old School House 1 Berrybushes - new stone wall and gate to replace existing.
2008/090 Decorative Village Sign
It was noted that Cllr. Ryder had designed a poster for the Notice Board and will be promoting the project at the Village Hall during this weeks 'Feast week-end'.
2008/091 Parish Forum
Cllr. Ryder's written report highlighted 'Rutland's 20 year Vision which emphasised the need to build 3915 houses in Oakham and 1029 in Uppingham. There will be 9 'roadshows' around the County for the public to respond.
