2008/119 To approve Minutes

Cllr. Warwick proposed, Cllr. Hudson seconded that the Minutes of 3rd September 2008 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.

2008/120 Matters arising

2007/055 - Black Bull - Highways are liaising with the new licensee about applying for a licence to erect a compound for the commercial bins on the grass verge, opposite the pub.

2008/121 Correspondence

Clement Keys - External Auditor's return duly signed.
RAF Cottesmore - night flying operations from September to May 2009.
Cllr. Ryder - received complaints about harvest traffic debris.

2008/122 Payments

Members agreed to pay cheques totalling £622.15

2008/123 Planning Applications

Members supported the following application-

LBA/2008/0703/MW¹ - 19 Main Street - Replacement of broken beam.

2008/124 Decorative Village Sign

Cllr. Warwick produced a draft design for the Village sign depicting the heritage of the village i.e. Church, Stocks, Sheep Market and the Rutland Horseshoe which members accepted and agreed that the sign should be erected on the Village Green.

2008/125 Xmas Party Arrangements

The Parish Clerk had written to Cottesmore Parish Council, but as yet they were unable to confirm date or number allocations!
