2008/145 To approve Minutes

Cllr. Stewart proposed, Cllr. Warwick seconded that the Minutes of 5^th November 2008 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.

2008/146 Matters arising

2008/137 - Millennium Garden - The Clerk reported that he had sent a letter of thanks to Mr. and Mrs. C. Stuttard for cutting the grass in the Millennium Garden.

Information Commissioner's Office - Freedom of Information - Cllr. Warwick proposed, Cllr. Carlisle seconded the Parish Council adopt the new model publication scheme (to be effective from 1^st January 2009) and this was agreed.

2008/149 Planning Applications

Members noted the approval of the following application-

CAT/2008/0899/APB - 30 Main Street - fell 1 Sycamore and replant similar tree in new location.

2008/150 To receive Xmas Party Report

Cllr. Stewart had accompanied the 22 parishioners from Market Overton, Thistleton and South Witham to the R.A.F. Cottesmore's Christmas Party and reported on the resounding success of the day's events which was thoroughly enjoyed by them. Members thanked Cllr. Stewart for overseeing the arrangements and in negotiating a reduction in the travelling costs.
