2008/145 To approve Minutes
Cllr. Stewart proposed, Cllr. Warwick seconded that the Minutes of 5th November 2008 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.
2008/146 Matters arising
- 2008/137 - Millennium Garden - The Clerk reported that he had sent a letter of thanks to Mr. and Mrs. C. Stuttard for cutting the grass in the Millennium Garden.
2008/147 Correspondence
- Emma Hudson - Market Overton Youth Leader - asking for funding the Children's Christmas Party.
- Ben Peters applying for grass cutting contract
- Rural Community Council - compiling Diary of Village Events 2009
- RCC - Parish Council Forum Agenda
- Information Commissioner's Office - Freedom of Information - Cllr. Warwick proposed, Cllr. Carlisle seconded the Parish Council adopt the new model publication scheme (to be effective from 1st January 2009) and this was agreed.

Members noted the Monthly Statement of Accounts.
2008/149 Planning Applications
Members noted the approval of the following application-
- CAT/2008/0899/APB - 30 Main Street - fell 1 Sycamore and replant similar tree in new location.
2008/150 To receive Xmas Party Report
Cllr. Stewart had accompanied the 22 parishioners from Market Overton, Thistleton and South Witham to the R.A.F. Cottesmore's Christmas Party and reported on the resounding success of the day's events which was thoroughly enjoyed by them. Members thanked Cllr. Stewart for overseeing the arrangements and in negotiating a reduction in the travelling costs.
