2009/001 Present

2009/003 Declarations
None.
2009/004 To approve Minutes
Cllr. Warwick proposed, Cllr. Stewart seconded that the Minutes of 3rd December 2008 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.
2009/005 Matters arising
- 2007/055 - Bins - The Clerk reported that the publican had not responded to RCC letters concerning the licence to install a small compound on the grass verge.
2009/006 Correspondence
- RCC - Consultation on Council spending plans for 2009/10 Meeting - 17-1-2009
- Cllr. Carlisle commented on the proposed 3.6% increase in the Council Tax for the new financial year especially as money was being set aside in the budget to tackle obesity, smoking, alcohol abuse and global warming! Members said that these things should be financed from Central Government.
- RCC - Temporary closure of Bowling Green Lane - 2 March to 20 March 2009
- RCC - Biodiversity Action Plan
- Leics. County & Rutland PCT - refused Mr. Singh application for a pharmacy.
- Cllr. Stewart - letter of thanks to Harrier Force Commander for Pensioners Christmas Party.
2009/007 Payments
Members agreed to pay cheques totalling £651.87

Members noted the Monthly & Quarterly Statement of Accounts.
2009/008 Planning Applications
Members supported the following planning application-
- LBA/2008/0997/APB - 3 Berrybushes - Retrospective application - alterations to fireplace.
2009/009 Risk Management & Risk Assessment
Members reviewed Section 1,2 and 3 of the Risk Management Policy and Risk Assessment Report and were satisfied that everything complied and was in order.
2009/010 Future items
- Annual Village Meeting - Wednesday 8th April 2009.
2009/011 Date of next meeting
It was noted that the next Meeting will be on Wednesday 4 February 2009 at 7-00 p.m. in the Church Meeting Room.(Meeting closed at 7-30 p.m.)
