2009/012 Present
Cllr's. Carlisle, Crowther, Hudson, Rodger, Ryder, Stewart and Warwick and 1 member of the public.
2009/013 Apologies
C/Cllr. Rob Toy. (The Parish Clerk had sent a 'Get Well' card, on behalf of the Parish Council, to C/Cllr. Toy who was in Peterborough Hospital after suffering a stroke)

2009/015 To approve Minutes
Cllr. Stewart proposed, Cllr. Carlisle seconded that the Minutes of 7th January 2009 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed.
2009/016 Matters arising
- 2007/055 – Bins – Mr. Kevin Housley of The Black Bull was invited to speak and he updated members about the progress of ‘highways’ licence; the cost implications of erecting a small compound on the grass verge and enquired if the Parish Council would make a grant towards the scheme. (Note- the Parish Clerk has subsequently made enquiries and been told that to use S137 money would be unlawful)
2009/017 Correspondence
- • E-ON – Connection agreement signed.
- • Leics & Rutland Association of Local Councils – Buckingham Palace Garden Party invitation to ‘Chairman’s of Parish Councils’ (subject to availability)
- • M.O. Village Hall – Grant Request³
- • Peter Robinson4 – 7 Main Street - Request for copy of minutes
2009/018 Payments
Members agreed to pay cheques totalling £ 597.95

Members noted the Monthly Statement of Accounts.
2009/019 Planning Applications
Members supported the following planning application-
- CAT/2009/0016/APB¹ - 21 Main Street – Remove Pine Tree
- FUL/2008/1091/JM² - 53 Main Street – single storey extension to rear & porch to front.
Members noted the approval of the following planning application-
- LBA/2008/0997/APB – 3 Berrybushes – Retrospective application – alterations to fireplace.
2009/020 Annual Village Meeting
Members discussed the agenda and suggested inviting Revd. Dr. James Saunders to speak on 'Church in the Community'.
