2009/059 To Elect Officers for 2009 - 2010

The Parish Clerk opened the Meeting and asked for nominations for Chairman - Cllr. Warwick proposed Cllr. Crowther, Cllr. Carlisle seconded and this was agreed. Cllr. Ryder proposed Cllr. Stewart as Vice Chairman, Cllr. Warwick seconded and this was agreed. Cllr. Crowther proposed Cllr. Hudson as Village Hall representative, Cllr. Ryder seconded and this was agreed.

2009/060 Approve Minutes

Cllr. Ryder proposed, Cllr. Warwick seconded that the Minutes of 8th March 2009 be accepted as a true record and this was agreed. Cllr. Carlisle proposed and Cllr. Warwick seconded that the Minutes of the Annual Town Meeting were accurate (with one typing error) and this was agreed.

2009/061 Matters Arising

2009/052 - Village Spring Clean - Cllr. Carlisle informed members that the VillageSpring Clean had gone well with 20 Volunteers turning up to do the work

RCC - Various County Council Election posters and European Election posters
RCC - Ashwell Prison Disorder - letter explaining the incident on 11 April 2009

2009/064 Planning Applications

Members supported the following planning application-

CAT/2009/0206/APB fell tree - 3 Bowling Green Lane
FUL/2009/0170/JM - 31 Bowling Green Lane - Rebuilding of existing stable/store, demolition of existing garage and construction of two storey extension to rear.Members considered that the boundary wall should be built in stone to blend in better with the street scene.

Members noted the approval of the following planning application-

PTA/2009/0148/APB prune 1 Sycamore tree - 1 The Finches
