RESOLVED That the Minutes of the Meeting held on 3rd June 2009 be confirmed.
2009/082 Matters arising
- 2008/052 – Spring Clean – RCC have sent a letter to the owner of 38 Main Street requesting that the lower branches be trimmed. Mrs King of Rosebrook is willing to meet members regarding the access road to the industrial estate.
- 2007/027 – Bins – The Tenant of the Black Bull cannot sign the licence until a clause has been amended.
2009/083 Correspondence
- C/Cllr. Susie Iannantuoni e-mail – after speaking to Julia Fisher-Robins, will submit extracts from Outreach and publish them in a weekly column in the Rutland Times.
- Inspector Johnny Monks – Rutland Crime Update
- Rutland Morris Men will perform outside The Black Bull - Monday 20 July at 9-00 PM
- E-ON Unmetered Supply Inventory check-list return.
- RCC - European Election Results mentioned 9486 rejected ballot papers.
- RCC – Proposed Diversion of Public Footpath E108 request¹ – An application had been received from the owner/occupier of 5 Spring Close, to divert part of the public footpath to secure a more efficient use of their garden. Members discussed the matter in depth and strongly objected to the proposed diversion.

Members noted the approval of the following planning application -
- FUL/2009/0170/JM - 31 Bowling Green Lane - two storey extension
- CAT/2009/0311/APB - 25 Bowling Green Lane - Fell Eucalyptus tree and crown lift Lime

2009/087 Assets Inspection Report
Cllr. Warwick had inspected the village and made the following comments -
- The plaster ceiling in the bus shelter was coming slightly adrift and needed boarding up with a piece of hardboard and the structure needing repainting (Members requested that a quotation be obtained for this work)
- Several bench seats needed new replacement timber. (Members agreed to this work)
- A bough on an Ash Tree needed cutting off. (Parish Clerk to inform RCC)
- Silver trees needed attention in Pinfold Lane. (Parish Clerk to get quote)
- Nettles needed cutting down in Kings Close. (Parish Clerk to speak to BDG)
- The Assets Inspection Report needed redesigning! (Cllr. Warwick volunteered)
