RESOLVED That the Minutes of the Meeting held on 5th August 2009 be confirmed.
2009/105 Matters arising
- 2007/098 – Allotments – 14 people had shown interest in acquiring an allotment in the village. The Parish Clerk and Cllr. Ryder had approached land owners and would make a full report at the next meeting.
- 2007/099 – George Phillips Award – Walker Close – Judging took place on 28 August 2009
2009/106 Correspondence
- RCC – Proposed Diversion of Public Footpath E108 request¹ – Stuart Crook - The Chairman and Cllr. Warwick met Stuart Crook on site and agreed that the footpath should be 7 foot wide, ground to be rolled and the drainage/manhole to be constructed to Highways specification.
- C/Cllr. Jan Rodger – Gritting – RCC are considering charging the Parish Council approximately £ 711.43 to grit Teigh Road, despite it being a bus route.
- Clement Keys – External Auditor’s Certificate.

RESOLVED - Members agreed to pay cheques totalling £ 1098.41

2009/108 Planning Applications
Members noted that the following planning applications had been withdrawn -
- MIN/2003/0316/CC – Construction of quarry haul road
- MIN/2003/0317/CC – Deletion of condition numbers 17,18 and 19
- MIN/2003/0318/CC – Alteration to planning condition 21
- MIN/2003/0319/CC – Alteration to planning consent 54
- FUL/2007/1248/CC – Extension of internal quarry haul road
Members supported the following application -
- PTA/2009/0825/JM – 50 Main Street² – Crown raise 1 Ash Tree
Members noted the approval of the following planning application -
- LBA/2008/0703/MW – 19 Main Street – Repair of broken beam.
2009/109 Broadband
The Parish Clerk had spoken to Kevin Butcher of RCC, about "Digital Rutland", who was currently having discussions with EMDA. The Parish Clerk had sent a letter of support to RCC and confirmed that 'Market Overton' would be willing to be part of a pilot scheme if required.
