RESOLVED That the Minutes of the Meeting held on 7th October 2009 be confirmed.
2009/128 Matters arising
- 2009/118/6 – The Clerk had written to Highways asking them to inform the resident who wishes to remain anonymous, that it will cost them £ 115 to undertake the repainting of column.
- 2009/118/2 – Red phone box – Alan Duncan MP has now agreed that it makes sense not to adopt the phone box after BT confirmed that they will still maintain it!
- LCC – The adoption of Leicestershire Minerals Development Framework
- Land Registry – voluntary registration of Parish Lane – not applicable.
- Street Light Request² - An enquiry had been received for the erection of a street light on the corner of Lawrence Close. RESOLVED to accept E-ON’s quotation of £ 830 + VAT bearing in mind the £ 415 grant from RCC towards the scheme.
- Highways – a re-surfacing scheme for Market Overton is included in the provisional capital programme for next year.
- RCC legal department is following up the non-payment of £ 5,000 E106 money for the junction improvement to the industrial estate.

Cllr. Hudson reported that a landowner would like to meet the Parish Council to explore the idea of renting out his land for allotments. Cllr. Ryder expressed relief as the numerous enquiries that she had made were either noncommittal or flatly refused
