RESOLVED That the Minutes of the Meeting held on 2nd December 2009 be confirmed.

- R.A.F. Cottesmore is to close by 2013.
- Scottish and Southern Energy - increase in street lighting tariff.
- RCC - Review of Important Open Spaces.
- RCC - Consultation on Council spending plans 2010 - 2011.
- Lane’s Post Office & Stores – will cease all trading from Wednesday 31 March 2010. Cllr. Stewart on behalf of the Parish Council expressed his deep gratitude to the Lanes for the fantastic service they had provided in running the Village Post Office & Stores. RESOLVED to send a letter to all residents in the village and also residents from Teigh, Barrow and Thistleton, inviting them to a Village Meeting at 8-15 p.m. on Tuesday 19 January 2010 to see if there is any interest in forming a working group to explore the idea of running a community shop. Cllr. Stewart agreed to chair the meeting. Mike Ball from Post Office Counters Ltd had previously spoken to the Parish Clerk explaining they would undertake their own consultation with the village. Market Overton would still have a Post Office, whether it is based in a community shop, pub, village hall, church, private house, or provided by a mobile post office.

2010/009 Pinfold Lane - Bridleway 109
The Chairman had consulted residents in Pinfold Lane and they were supportive of bollards being erected across the lane to stop cars using the Bridleway.

Cllr. Ryderexplained that she was still investigating other parcels of land in the village that could possibly be used as allotments.
