2010/062 To approve Minutes
RESOLVED That the Minutes of the Meeting held on 31st March 2010 and the accuracy of the Annual Village Meeting minutes be confirmed.
2010/063 Matters arising
- 2010/043 (1) Neighbourhood Watch – A member of the public had made enquiries about the vacancy of Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator.
- 2010/043 (2) Allianz Insurance – had now been taken over by Aon Limited which had increased the premium by £ 39.07 – it was agreed to find an alternative quote.
2010/064 Correspondence
- Cllr. Iannantuoni e-mail – Members of the Standards Board will be attending Parish Council Meetings at Cottesmore and Market Overton
- RCC – Standards – Code of Conduct – Conflicts of interest.
- RCC Highways – Advance Notice of resurfacing works will take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete and will be undertaken during September/October 2010. The works will be undertaken under a full road closure and/or 2 way, off peak traffic signals and convoy working. It was proposed to have a meeting with the residents of Thistleton Road to discuss the proposed footpath at the next Parish Council Meeting at the Village Hall on Wednesday 2nd June 2010 at 19.00 pm.
2010/065 Payments
- RESOLVED – Members agreed to pay cheques totalling £ 1,256.76 and noted the Monthly Statement of Accounts
- RESOLVED – to update signatories for the current account.
2010/066 Planning Applications
- FUL/2010/0150/PG – The Wharf – new barn, garaging for horse box, tractor, and forklift.
- The Planning Officer had visited the site and confirmed that the new barn would be considerably smaller than the adjacent buildings and he could see no problems with the application.
2010/067 Allotments¹
The Parish Clerk informed the meeting that negotiations with the land owner was progressing satisfactory and it was hoped that it could be concluded in the next few weeks.
